Day Three

On Thursday 9th Matt was ordered to wear the prisons for 6 hours with nice clean socks, of course he obeyed, originally I had scheduled for 5 hours but he was planning to meet someone for dinner so I added an hour but said he didn't have to lace the up securely for the first hour.

Dampness rating remained at 2 and smell at 2.5.

"Prisons put on, loosely laced and not tied at 1800, worn to dinner.  They seemed a bit on the warm side but not excessively hot or tight.  During dinner, foot cramp in right foot due to bending foot inside with all the room.  Able to control cramp easily by bending ankle up.  At 1900 laces tied tight and the heat starts again!!  As I sit still with the sneakers on, I wonder how they can be sold as basketball sneakers because they get burning on the soles of the feet and toes.  But I as move, however slight walking, the sneakers seem to air themselves out.  I think as designed for basketball, they would serve well and not be such direct heat as is while sitting still.  I absolutely love the looks of them, very attrative looking and athletic like, but to wear them for hours really is torture.  I am sure the designers counted on them being worn just for an hour or so for games.  Not extended.  The pictures on the phone and ipad make the mind set even more interesting.  Even know they are on, everytime the phone is used, such as during dinner, it brings the mind back to how they feel.  The more thought that is put into being trapped in them, the more the feeling of uncomfortable becomes exaggerated.  Absolute relieve getting them off again and the Underarmor socks worn definitely are more damp than any previous worn.  The smell is becoming less new shoe smell and more feet smel and getting to the point of if forced breathing though them would start to become uncomfortable.  Although the soles in the sneakers are not very wet themselves, the socks and feet are both much more damp.  Not sure I will ever sweat enough to get the sneaker soles actually wet.  Very smooth and very relieved feet.  Amazing how it can go from so bad to so good!  Peeling the socks off tonight was hot....even for me!  Not looking forward to them back on so early in the A.M. but will make it happen!"

He was told to remove them at midnight but was ordered to put them back on the following morning at 7am, so didn't have much free time away from them.
